This is a shot test for a personal animated project set in 1930s Shanghai. I aimed to capture the quiet elegance and emotional restraint of the era, using stylized visuals and lighting.
I was responsible for all visual development, including concept design, color script, layout, and production design.
To create a cinematic yet painterly look, I combined 3D modeling for spatial accuracy with 2D hand-painted textures, allowing the environment to feel both dimensional and emotionally rich.
